here is the story, i ordered the 4bolt before reading that tread about 4bolt turbo's mounting differently w/ a drag/revhard mani. I get the turbo and figure hell i can get this to work. After a few hours, i'm frustrated and start contemplating on whether it would work now.

here is what was going on: garrett t3/t4e 60trim, .63a/r turbine 4 bolt on a drag mani

Here is the finished product. Notice the drain plug is totally gone




To make a long story short, it didnt work. I got too frustrated to try longer so i did this. I didnt have a/c either way, but i guess i wont ever be putting it back in now

Wow, who welded up that downpipe??.. Stevie Wonder?? Hope it runs better then she looks, but I have to give you a for trying.

whats wrong with the downpipe welds? I had that 4bolt flange welded before so i had to cut it off and reweld it onto a different downpipe. Thats y it looks like twice as much weld.

Looks that shitty cause the double welds on the downpipe flange eh? Looks fine imo.

I was tuned at only 9psi w/ a t3/t4b turbo(old turbo). Made 254whp, 173tor. Havent gone back to the dyno ever since i got this new turbo and upgraded ignition. After i tune for high boost i will go see what times it'll pull.
