Default T3/t4 or 62-1

Ok guys, im trying to see if i should stick with my turbonetics t3/t4 50 trim turbo or upgrade to 62-1 turbonetics. I know on the 62-1 will be a late spool. Looking at the advantages, and disadvantages. Motor is a built B16, sleeved bottom end with gsr cams for now. 3in downpipe and 38 mm wastegate. Also i have the Greddy profec Eo1 in which i will be able to set the signal to the turbo to start spooling at a certain rpm, and make it hold a signal so that it won't fall too far when shifting. Any inputs will be appreciated.

Thanks

Like with many other threads here, we don't know what your goals are, besides the obvious exponential increase in HP for the car. Any additional input from YOU, will help get additional feedback from the forum.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

Well, hp goals are 300++.. Not trying to be the fastest. Just trying to keep up. I I'm more curious about the how the lag will be on the 62-1 turbo. But im thinking about just staying with the t3/t4. A few guys are running the gt 30 here and they spool quick *** hell. So i don't wanna play catch up all the time, and i don't wanna spray on it either. I know i need bigger injectors. Currently i have 510's. But the way the gas is, i might just stay with them for awhile. and i don't really want to rev high to get the turbo spoolin for launching.

that's a little better. But the 62-1 came with 2 turbine wheel choices; A stage III turbine wheel (smaller) or the P-trim wheel. Either way, with the B16, you're going to be reving the car to get it moving, but either turbo will do 300++ (that is VERY general), so I guess "feedback" is rather moot at this point. you can use either one and get your result.

HMMM, so pretty much the only thing is, with the 62-1 it will be a later spool up time, and the t3/t4 not much at all. And i just gotta find out which wheel is in the turbo? Well, i might just stick with the t3/t4 then, and just upgrade my injectors to 750cc.

And when did you get full boost at? RPM wise? Did you see a hp increase also?
