im thinkin you're going to want a larger turbo.... but .63 a/r for sure.

My vote: GT32R

tnx for the input. im just a little concerned about the spool up time of a .63 for the d16 since it cant rev past 9k even with an upgraded valve train and EMS. The GT32r is definitly a good turbo but the price is just a bit too much for me..

350-400whp comes at a price bro... and if you're "fully" building it, then you should be able to afford a good turbo and manifold as they are essential to "boost".

Carbon Creations is right about that, though there are a couple of other turbo configurations to use for the 350whp goal without going so far as a 60-1. That will take a bit longer to spool up.

i was eyeing the t3/60-1 because i was very impressed with the improvement of a friends car when he switched from a .63 t3/t04b to the .63 t3/60-1. but this was on a b16. besides i already have most of the stuff i need for the build exept for the turbo and pistons. so i am quite decided on the 60-1 just need to know if i can get the 350-400whp with the .48 or should i go with the .63 which would be a bit laggy on a d16. keeping in mind i cant rev pass 9k.

-mrd-thanks for the info

t3t4 50 or 57 trim with a .63 hotside would be my choice

if you don't wanna lot of lag go .48 hotside

i wisht there was a .55 hotside, something in between the .48 and .63

thanks for the info im slapping in a t3/to4b next week with a .63 hotside just to see how it would feel with the d-series. if the engine can pull it off then i might go for the 60-1 with the .63 hotside
