Default T25 wastegate actuator relocation help.

I bought a brand new GT2554r with internal WG as in first pic. The actuator hit the exhaust manifold so no way to reclock with the supplied actuator. I have now clocked it the way it needs to be and I have a couple of questions. I can handle getting the actuator where it needs to be but the valve arm (the part the E clip attaches to) is welded in a way that put a 45 deg angle between it an the actuator rod vs 90 deg it’s designed for..... does it matter? Do I need to cut it off and reweld? Also how much tention should there be at the e clip. Thanks.
