I used to have that same turbo and I never found a return fitting that fit.

You need to look for a fitting, not a flange, the surface is not flat enough for a flange.

Good luck finding the fittings.

It is a inverted flare hydraulic fitting. A big one, probably 3/4"IF.

Here is a cheap place:

http://www.fittingsandadapters....html

Buy the 1/2" through the 3/4", and tell us which one fit. I have seen this question asked several times and nobody ever responds to which fitting it is.

that flange is either an 11/16 inverted flare or 5/8 inverted flare. (but it hase to be an sae inverted flare similar to a brakeline fitting just larger. if you need more info email me i think i can help

The fittings came in today. Turns out that its the 2105x10 5/8 .88 .80 fitting.

Now what do I do? The inside of the fittings are smooth.

That fitting is made to have a flared tube go through it, exactly like the fittings on your brake lines.

If it was me i'd either drill out the inside and tap it, or just weld something to the other side of the fitting.

Excellent. I brought this back up because I have a freind who just got one of these turbos. Sorry you had to spend $18 to get the correct $2 fitting.

And sorry I didn't say it was a tube nut. You need a tubing flare set to properly flare it. I wouldn't tap it because you really need a 5/8" tube to eliminate restriction.

Now that we know the correct fitting, I will see if I can find finished hard lines in this size.

Default flare garrett t25 oil outlet

Update for those that care:

This Garrett turbo is an OEM T25 that came on the Pontiac Sunbird. I have tracked down the correct fitting for the outlet:

http://www.fittingsandmore.com...ge=29

Part 30-286. It is 5/8" inverted flare to hose barb, in brass. $9.

Since I have seen these turbos popping up on Ebay again, (I bought one for $200, not bad for a new in box Garrett original), I thought I would update this for those that search.

Alternatively, you can find a turbo sunbird in a boneyard and take the oil drain off of it. But good luck with that. This fitting will allow you to use a 3/4" rubber drain line to the oil pan.
