Synthetic Oil w/ Turbo Chargers
I haven't seen any threads about synthetic vs authentic oil... but this is my thoughts:
1. Synthetic Oil Manufacturers claim that you can go longer between oil changes w/ synthetic.
2. Turbo Charged motors require more frequent oil changes.
Wouldnt it make sense to spend the extra couple bucks for synthetic if you have a turbo motor to insure its reliability?
Also, anyone know of any studies to finally prove which is better performance wise?

Re: Synthetic Oil w/ Turbo Chargers (Anthony K)
We had this disscusion in the tech thread but I will repeat my thoughts. The most important thing in a honda or any motor is ring seal. Ring seal is what keeps the motor working and making power. Synthetic is a really good lubricater. In fact too good. What it does is coat the cyclinder walls so good that the oil can not be completly scraped down and stays on the walls. This will hurt ring seal and thats why I use a regular oil. It does do a good job oiling the rest of the parts though like bearings and what not. Just change your oil a little more often. I mean for the price of synthetic you can have 2 oil changes for one with the synthetic......Mike
