Symptoms of a clogged Missing Link?
Finally got my car up and running after over 2 months of simple repair work.
Anywho, what are the symptoms of a clogged Missing Link? The car jerks a lot and seems like it's misfiring. When I look at my AFC, I see that even when I'm not even close to boosting, the pressure reading goes positive. Quite a lot too. Just starting normally in 1st gear will get me a 0.14kg/cm2!
The few times the car does drive right, I'll look at the AFC and the Pressure reading is normal.
Would a clogged Missing Link cause that? I know it's easy to fix, but it's so incredibly cold outside.
Thanks.

when my missing link was clogged, any sudden throttle will cause jerking, and so will boost, but slow acceleration or crusing will be fine.

Jerking and stumbling mostly. I would clean it anyways if you haven't lately. You may throw a code 3 or 5 too.
Spray it down with Carb Cleaner first. Take some wire threads and run it through the hole in the side. You should see the dirt on the wire. And make sure you go all the way through to the center.

stupid question but im having problems with mine also,i just got a code 3 .
if you take the missing link off,and blow through the manifold side, should it blow out the map sensor end?or will it be very hard to blow through?should the small bleeder hole be on the upper half when its installed or on the lower half.
i think that maybe the insides are reversed or something.

the instructions say if your filter is clogged you may throw a cel code, chances are if the filter is nasty your gonna get a bad reading
