Default Swain tech

Has anyone in here sent their stuff over to Swain Tech to get their exhaust parts coated??

If so how do you like the coating, and how long have you had it?

I am thinking about going this route instead of wrapping the mani and getting a blanket for the turbo.

just the answer i was looking for. I found as my time being an engine dyno test engineer that wrapping exhaust and manifolds tends to make things very brittle after many heat cycles. You dont find this with the coatings correct?

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but my engine is at the machine shop right now, and my machinist recomended SwainTech.. Ive never heard of them bit He said its a no brainer when rebuilding. Anyone know if the coating can be ordered? I went on their site but all i see is a form to have your stuff sent out to them..

Thanks. As far as the work im getting done, it seems like a good idea to keep as much heat in the combustion chamber as possible.. But i dont think their prices are in my range right now. Im gonna start a build thread and see how well my motor runs after the headwork is done...
