Coating recommendations - pistons, turbine housings, exhaust parts, etc.
Hey guys,
I tried searching but the HT search engine makes me want to break things. With that aside...
Does anyone have a good recommendation of where I can send multiple parts to be coated? I'm a big fan of coating, but haven't really found one place that does it all. Looking for piston skirts to be done, domes, turbine housings, some exhaust parts, manifolds, etc. Looking for most likely a black satin finish or something similar to FULL-RACE's HPC Hiper coating. Any advice is appreciated.

james at IPG does great work on the exhaust components - not totally sure if he does pistons etc or not though, never asked.

Wow, funny that I grew up in FL with James and didn't know this.
Mr. Innes, hit me up.
Everyone else, keep the suggestions coming in case IPG's stuff isn't high temp enough for turbine housings, etc.

ipg and swaintech.com are the only 2 you need to know about....and you can coat your combustion chamber..exhaust port and header in and out.....heat = power so if you keep the heat inside then...in theory it should spool the turbo faster...also you can do your turbine housing and downpipe.....then piston skirts...valve heads with combustion chamber...bearings...heat disipatating coating on intake manifold......

I had IPG do the tops of my pistons, looked good. He is a great guy to work with, I will probably hit him up for some exhaust coating soon.
