I just finished turboing the y8. got my chipped p28 ecu and boomslnag convo harness. I had started the car to move it just idling around no reving. idle was a little rough. Now with the ecu it surges, 3000 rpm to 1500 and back and forth. dsm 450's, obdI pig tails. Could lean idle cause it. Hoping to have it tuned this weekend. THanks

 

Does it do it warm or cold? And are you using uberdata?

 

Sounds like your base idle is off. 3k it hits the fuel cut

ur most liekly running too lean. get the car tuned to solve the issues.

let the car warm up a bit cuz with programs like uberdata, the idle is a little wierd when the car is cold

 

yea. Im going to be using crome. But another thought was the pruge soleniod with converting to obdI. Tried it and nothing. But at start up(cold) itll idle like 3000-3200 and then aftr it warms up its surge between 2500 and 1500-1000. But im thinkning, yea its needs to be tuned.
