Default Idle when decelerating

My idle is normal except when I am coasting down to a stop. Doesn't matter if I am in netural or not. When coasting down from a stop I put it in neutural and coast down the idle will not got under 1500rpm. Right when I stop the idle will drop to normal. It happens on and off but has just started happening when it was very cold out. It only happens when I coast down to a stop. When I am stopped the idle will resume normally. Also I just installed a ACT hdss but don't think this has anything to do with it. Help me out guys

Mine has been hanging out around 1100 for the last few weeks, then after a couple seconds when stopped, will drop to normal idle. I blame the Skunk2 program for that...do you have a chipped ECU?

Mine also does the same thing. I think its just cause the cars moving and the air is somehow getting into the airbox, more than normal.

I thought it had to do with fueling.

same in my r, wonder if it has anything to do with the cold weather or aggressive driving (redlining...)?

i always thought thats the way it should be, rpm won't drop to normal idle until the car stops.

It never used to do this before. Just started happening 2 days ago. Also took it out a while ago and car was fully warmed up and just idleing at 2000. I popped the hood to make sure throttle cable was alright and I didn't touch anything and it went back to normal idleing(800rpm). Maybe the IACV???

Check the Fuel System section of the Helms manual. The answer is in there.

There's nothing wrong with what is going on, it is normal.
