5th gear pull.... Heard its not good to be boosting to much in 5th, unless your tune is dead on..

Why do people feel the need to tune a engine so rich ? All it does is leave a load of carbon deposits in the combustion chamber which will glow and cause the engine to detonate when under high load. This situation gets even worse when the igniton timing is miles away from maximum brake torque.

Yeah, i know there cheap but i wouldnt say there junk at all. Specially as your making 650 on them. I do agree that there are better pistons on the market though . I've always seen them as good value for money for what they are... ideal for a budget setup.

Got supertechs in my block right now. No problems yet.... (knock on wood). Oh yeah, they have AWESOME customer service too. I got the wrong size from a vendor and they exchanged them without issues once they got some in stock (backordered). They kept good communication the whole way through.

beings the mahle powerpaks are barely more if you shop for net specials i could see why there would be some resistance to supertech.
