What do you guys think about placing the Vortech supercharger for a GS-R on a USDM Type R w/ stock internals? Would there be a HP difference on how the supercharger would perform on the Type R? How much damage would it cause due to long time wear and tear without any upgrades?

The Vortech uses the stock IM right? If so, then it should work. It will be fine as long as you keep the boost at a reasonable level. I would also suggest you get it tuned once everything is installed, this will ensure youre A/F ratios are nice and rich.
