Superchargers JACKSON or VORTEC
Which on would you all select. Getting ready to purchase one for the low end power. They say a 40% increase. From what I hear pretty reliable too. Let me know what you think?

go with jr kit, if you're looking for bottom end power
they post impressive numbers espeically on the b16a2, plus its gonna be more of a bolt up process and you cant beat the 2 year warranty on them. great reliability

I would go with the Vortech...
-It can be intercooled
-and you get a BOV...something thats music to my ears (you can flame if you want but I love the sound of them)
-you get the efficiency of a turbo..
-mostly bolt on but im sure with a little patience you can get it....
Jut my 2 pennies

Biggest misconception EVER. The vortech adds **** for low end power. Absolutely nothing. It feels like a N/A car that just peaks a bit higher. I absolutely hated my vortech kit, I could not have been happier to get rid of it. Guess what the boost curve, and power curve, looks like with the vortech blower? A straight diagonal line. RPM's increase, boost increases. Gives you jack **** for low end power, a bit more on the top end. Go turbo, you'll thank me later.

Re: Superchargers JACKSON or VORTEC (Blue-Civic-Hybrid)
If you want nothing more than a little more reliable power say 190whp running 14's in the 1/4 and have a great reliable daily driver get the jrsc. I had one on my b16a2 for a year and it was good.... but i eventually wanted more powere so im now turbo'd So if you dont expect to want 300whp down the road go with the jrsc.

210WHP of VERY useable power is pretty impressive for a straight bolt-on upgrade. You can literally install the JRSC with basic hand tools in matter of hours.
I have a JRSC on my Acura 1.6EL (D16Y8), and I have been running it for almost 3 years now (80000 miles). It offers great power everywhere, even down low right off idle.
