Default JRSC 10.5psi, should I add nitrous?

I've been contemplating whether I should add a touch of the laughing gas to my setup. I'm looking at the NX wet system set at a 35 shot. I'm planning to spray through the blower. My bday is comin' up soon so I'm thinking about buying this for myself

JDM b16, bone stock block and head with a JRSC attached to it. It sees 10-11psi daily and is dyno tuned via hondata s200. So as of right now the motor is running great and is in awesome condition; and it has been like this for over a year now. The s200 also has the nitrous controls, so it's all there. I just need the nitrous itself...

Yes, it's safer with forged pistons and rods. But I'm also confident that the stock block should be able to handle anything below 300whp; and this setup will be below that mark. Head is stock also. Given the proper tuning (dynospot), I don't think there should be a problem. Or is it a bad idea?

I guess I should ask you guys how your experiences have been with this type of setup, especially on a stock motor. I've read threads dating back from '01 to '03 and they've all been good experiences. But what about an update, guys? How are these setups running for 2004?

peace.

Go for it. Remember to retune.

go for it, or sell the jrsc and go turbo.

No.

Man this is a hard decision. I need this motor to last, but nitrous sounds so much fun! I already blew my previous motor and I don't want to make the same mistake twice, lol.

Who out there is running a similar setup (JRSC/small shot nitrous) on a stock block? How long have you been running this setup and how is the motor handling the pressure? How much are you boosting the JRSC with the spray? Also, how much do you get on the nitrous?

PM gitwidit. He runs a 50 shot through a JRSC on a D-series.

The thing to worry about is your cylinder pressures, they are going to be sky high.

IMO it would be more reliable to run a turbo setup than supercharger/nitrous. If you want reliable why would you even consider nitrous?

Well then add a cam on the exhaust side with enough duration to bleed off some of the pressure so you can run both. You'll be all set then

Great idea. Then you can buy high compression pistons and run an extra thick headgasket...
