Supercharger almost done!
Well yesterday on my birthday I started on the JRSC install. Well everything went pretty smooth untill the last part of the night. We had one of the bolts on the tensioner break so I will have to get it machined out and rethreaded. Also we have a few wires on the ECU that need to be hooked up.
The car started the first try but was idleing pretty high and the belts were not lined up as they should be. So I just need to get those 2 things fixed and hopefully this thing will be up and running on Monday

Re: Supercharger almost done! (futuresi)
I have a problem with my belts being "stright". The problem ones are the ones that connect to the alternator. alternator/crank and the superchager/alternator.
When my pulley was put on they had to put a spacer for it to work.
We got both idler pulleys on and the belts tensioned. Now when it started it was ideling around 1500 and sounds like a vac leak.
We took a look and the top clamp for the bypass was not on so we tigthen one in there and now it doesnt sound as bad but not ideling as it should. I also was thinking it could be from the boost gague line that was open since I havent connected it to the gague yet (line was too small)
Now the belts, they are not lining up at all. They are both the ones from the alternator. The s/c belt it rubbing against the alternator and look like its only on 2 grooves. The other alternator one is about 1-2 grooves off. Is there a spacer for the alternator when you out it on the bracket? cause it need to move over somehow....
any idea guys?

On the lower alternator support bolt, there's a collar that centers the bolt as it passes through the bracket. It usually sticks inside the stock alt. bracket and can easily be forgotten.
Did you pop the collar out of the stock bracket and use it with the JR bracket?
