Supercharged integra MAP sensor
I am running 10 psi boost with a stock ecu and when i get onto the throttle hard it will almost always thow a CEL. I get a MAP sensor and a TPS code. Is there anyway they are affecting eachother beacuse the always come on together. Thinking of goin with hondata and putting car on dyno this summer. Will a GM 3 bar map sensor work with my 95 gsr. I am looking at a Gude 65 mm throttle body on ebay....is that a good tb for my car?
i am assuming you've used some sort of map mod to relocate where the map sensor gets its tap off the manifold. if its in the original position on top of the throttle body (which is "ahead" of the supercharger) - then you have some other problem.
i would recommend some sort of map limiter. jackson sells one.
if you go hondata then this problem will be fixed. sounds like the stock ecu is seeing boost which is throwing the code.
there is also a "hack" for the AFC that some people run here. it is a "hack" and I do not recommend trying it. but some people will praise it like its the best thing since peanut butter.

Anyone else have probs similar. Does anyone know about the placement of the map sensor on a Supercharged setup....i cant look under my hood now it is in storage

Like FalconGSR said "the original position on top of the throttle body (which is "ahead" of the supercharger)"
If its somewhere else hence the problem. Unless you got a Standalone EMS or the JR Map Mod.
I'd check the MAP sensor...maybe it's not tightened down to the throttle body..O-ring not sealing right...hacked-up wiring etc.
