Default Super charged AND turbo charged...

Ive heard of this idea thrown around before and have even contemplated it myself, and was thinking how wild it would be to have instant boost off the line - have the ability to spool a mad huge turbo in no time, and run high boost all at the same time.

has anyone set this up? or know of any downsides to this concept?
if anyone has done it, please please post pics!!

Yeah, its called a 30 shot of nitrous.

SC with turbo is such a friggin waste of time and money.

its a huge waste of money, but some people have too much money and plenty of time, so im sure its nice when set up, nitrous isnt really a solution, cuz as soon as the bottle is empty, the car is just as slow....thats like saying why turbo charge when u can just spray? u can make the same power....sure but one last as long as u have a tank of gas,....the other after a few squirts.

i understood what he said, it just had nothing to do with discussing a supercharged/turbo charged car - he just threw an alternate solution.

i dont disagree, nitrous would spool it nice and fast, and it works for alot of people, but thats not the topic i want to read and see.

thanks for the input anyways though.
i appreciate it.

Meguiar's did this to their 'Type R.' I believe it came out sometime in May 2002 in either super street, scc, but it could be Turbo... im not 100% sure which mag it was.

I know of a guy running an Eaton M62 and T3/4 on a Ford 2.3. He was having problems keeping the boost from spiking over 30 psi, it was a pretty sick car.

However, my friend Dave's Merkur XR4ti (2.3 turbo Ford), lightly worked and with the boost turned up, is pretty sick too. I don't think you need both turbo and SC to do the job.
