the problem with that is at high rpms it wont breathe and become a restriction.
you need to see what your hp goals are, and find a turbo around that.

I recall seeing them use a tiny turbo on a 1.3L(?) FI'd Prius (done for gas milage). It was seeing boost during 70mph cruising, and mostly ever other time, as the motor doesn't really idle. Smallest turbo I'd put on a 2.2L would be a T25. Honestly though, I've seen exhausts on bigger motors that were more restrictive than a GT15, as I actually have a (junk) GT15 in storage. They come on some Saabs made after '96 IIRC. Find out on wikipedia.
If you want an example of how that would feel, jump into a 97ish Eclipse with the stock turbo (2.0L with T25). They suck *****...
