What about the cheaper options like this:
It like 100$ cheaper. Everyone is probably using the 1000-6 but what about the other two?

Those require a fitting kit that is $25 extra to make them compatible with the -6an fittings. THEN it will be at least another 60 dollars for a set of -6an fittings and hose. I priced 16 feet of nylon braided hose with a 6 piece assortment of -6an fittings for 56 dollars on Amazon. That MIGHT be okay depending on where I mount it, if not, I may need additional fittings. So.. In a price comparison, you're paying the basically the same for either the 13109 or the 13116.

The main difference I see is pressure. The 13109 goes from 45-90 and the 13116 (bolt on) goes from 30-70. The 13116 seems a better suit since base pressure is 43.5 and I'd be out the gate an additional 1.5 with the 13109. PLUS the 13109 will require about another 60 dollars in bits and pieces for mounting. So, the price points are the same-ish, which brings me to one last deciding factor; superiority. If one recommended over the other.
Christ.. I may be overthinking again?

Yep. Overthinking.. your train of thought was fine until that "superiority" nonsense.

Overthinking by a long shot.
Just my $.02 points.
-I most frequently use the 13129 over the 13109 as an off rail option.
-You don't need 16' of -6 hose to creat an in bay return setup...you won't even use 5'.
-Be careful (again) w/ "bargain" hose when it comes to assembly time
-Every Aeromotive pictured/mentioned here will work for what you want to do (though I've never used that 13301, I'm sure I could. Again, 13129 has been "king here"...that may be because of the color"/body size
-You'll more than likely still end up using a -6 return to the firewall with the bolt on rail, which is 3 "fittings" and hose.

Re: Suggestions needed: Adjustable fuel pressure regulator for boost application
Here may be a dumb question but, the 1:1 boost pressure rate is 1 psi fuel pressure added to base pressure per psi of boost?
