hey guys

i want to make a highway monster mr2 spyder. the spyder is light and it hooks well even with power..

my motor choise is to swap a k24, but what head? a2 or z1?
and i want it supercharged instead of turbo so i dont have a big torque spike and lose traction, but i still want alot of power...
im not a big honda persone, iv been big into 2zz's. but for serious 4 cyl power the only way to go is k24. so please be paitiant with me.
i would like about 500 hp superchargerd. is that asking alot? i want to use a rotrex c38 unit. and it will be air to water cooled.
who does good reputable k20 head work with flow bench #'s?
and for boost would the stock a1 or z1 cams be good?
and what stand alone would be good? i want to switch inbetween maps and datalog. i also plan to run a 75 shot in hopes to reach about 550 hp..
please leave constuctive comments and suggestions.

You might want to look into just running a K24A2 from a TSX. Good flowing head, good cams and as long as you can make pretty decent numbers without cracking the block open.

As long as you do your homework with turbo sizing, you can have a really nice power band without a huge surge.

K-pro is a great option for an ECU, but the AEM EMS is also an option that a lot of people have had great success with. Check out K20a.org, there's a lot of good information on there and knowledgeable people that can help you out in terms of cam selection and what has been proven to work.
