Default Stuttering engine.

Today i was driving home and sometimes the car would stutter.. felt like it was missing.. It isnt load/gear/speed/rpm dependant, and will just do it sometimes for a sec. Oil pressure is good, it isnt going lean on the wideband.. and its still building boost normally. no cels. I feel its an ignition issue.. I washed under the hood today, maybe some water got where it shouldnt?

I did a 5th gear 'semi' pull on the way home.. just up to about 100-105mph, i was at only 60% throttle just cruising.. It was fine then too, ran normally.

Could water get into the spark plug boot/area and cause this? It was only a few hours after i washed it. I havent really done much looking around under the hood to see what could be the problem. Its a new cap/rotor from honda, as well as new plugs.. BRK7's, i have a spare set i may change if problem persists, as well as maybe pull the cap off and investigate under there.

Car has ran great all year. So could water be the culprit? I figured the heat from the engine would just dry it up shortly.. What should i look into first?

Setup is just a stock block B18C at 7psi, street tuned.

I pulled the cap off the dizzy, pulled the wires, cleaned everything, and put it all back together and problem still persists..

I got almost all the way though 3rd at WOT around 7k it just backfired, and i let off. Sometimes it happens at 3k sometimes 6-7k etc.. Throttle position dosent matter as well as load.

I will swap ignition setups with my friend dizzy/wires and put in my spare set of plugs.. See if the problem persists.

Does anyone have any pointers on how to diagnois between fuel and ignition ? Im pretty sure its an ignition though. since it only seems to be happening after ive been driving for 15-20minutes and the cars been at temp for awhile.
TYIA!
