I dont know much about the S300 but I do know STC's reaper gets a lot of thumbs up, you cant really go wrong with anything Mac touches. I would suggest PMing him with your goals and setup, he can tell you the ups and downs of both, hes very staightforward.

I have a Reaper and wont change it for the world for my goal, so it depends on your whp goal. Im using a .63 exh housing and hit 607@34psi on my little B16 getting boost from 5500 to 9500 rpms. I dont wanna see what this beast could do with a .82 or bigger housing.

I believe (correct me if I am wrong) the Borg Warner S300sx FMW is a T4 divided/undivided starting at .81 exh housing. The spool should be completely different

Last I heard the reaper is discontinued till they release a new version of it this fall? Like everyone else said pm mac with your setup and goals and hell steer you in the right direction.

Correct, the Reapers are discontinued but Mac still has a few around, that is if he hasn't sold them all which might be the case.

Im also waiting for the new line of products from Mac which will be kickass.

The reaper production has been stopped and is being revamped and upgraded for better performance but not completely discontinued forever

u need a power goal to start man, id assume that your wanting 500+ but some more info would def help us all help u make a deision.

550 with a great powerband is my goal! Going full Ferrea in the
head and Cp+Crower on the bottom.. Ramhorn(AC) Exhaust
manifold, Vector X intake manifold, and a full race intercooler.
AEM fuel rail and ID1000cc injectors with a custom catch can setup.
Tuned through AEM.. Bin in the low 11's in my del sol, now trinna
get to low 10's

for 550 you'll have to run some sort of race fuel e85 etc. which means you will also need bigger injectors. id 1000s on pump with water/meth may get u to 500 but thats about it. ur cam selection will be important for that power too.

u should look into gringotegra's setup and and maybe lightning teg too. californiadad is another one whos about to break the 500 mark and his thread is a wealth of knowledge.

see what works for everyone else and go for it. research is key.

You could look into those new GSC cams, but if you run E85 with 1600cc injectors you should be able to get to 550 on ITR cams.

Another turbo option would be a precision 6262 maybe?

I know the borg unit is a little cheaper, just throwing another option out there for ya.

The reaper was discontinued for a bit, or I would have gone that route for my build, ended up going w/GT3540S, 71mm wheel per Mac reccomendations. We have similar goals. Im on a built ls vtec 2L w/10:1 comp. Shooting for 550whp on 93 pump+water/meth & what ever else the tuner wants to shoot for on race gas. For These goals on this type of engine I am going w/Pro 1 cam's. These should really perform well on a setup of this size motor/power goals. I also am running the ID1000's & upgrading to s300.

Going with the Gt3540s also after talking to Mac! Running ID1000's also, but 93 for low and C16 for high boost. Not too much a fan of water/meth. Going to contact DDtech about some cams for my setup..Tuner is an AEM freak, so going that route electronically.
