stroke it or dont stroke it
Why do I always have something to say? Because I see sooooo many people are doing things the WRONG way. People make things way more complicated than they really are. Having tons of instant torque on a FWD car with dinky tires is retarded... it's useless on the street. 1st and 2nd gear in my car are useless unless I have my drag radials on, and I don't make near the power/torque your talking about making. You will have to get a staged boost controller, LSD, drag radials, good suspension, traction bars, etc... and your still going to have a hard time putting it to the ground! But hey if that sounds fun to you, go for it.
Oh and sc4dr don't you have a supercharer on a honda? That's about as smart as boosting a b20 lol...

On my motor I'm running a Dart tall deck w/92mm crower stroker kit. With the tall deck my r/s is 1.69/1 (gsr/itr is somewhere around 1.59/1)

ya know he is saying it for the good i guess thats why im not tripping over anymore. thanks. anyways i dont think i would want to have it stroked since i want it to last a long time and for a daily driver. wat psi are you running your turbo with the stroker.
hey beerbong is your Dmotor good for the streets to. ive always wanted to try a turbo Dmotor. just cause of the TQ it gives out. and the low cost of the motor if it blows. where are you redlining and your shifting.
k about traction cause i just found out that im keeping the DA so.... to get that traction of a FWD wat would be the best way. would a dampner work with a traction bar and rods, LSD, and wat else. well to keep it as a nice budget.

All it takes is a bit of searching (that means getting your head out of your asses) to see what the lowly d-series puts out. Even stock blocks limited by tiny rods (or should I say lightweight rods
) is making more TORQUE than some built b18 motors. 200-250wtq is nothing to laugh at. Even 3rd gear doing 50mph results in 4k rpm, giving you 152whp (if you're making the typical 200wtq of a low boost D16). And based on the extra you pay for a b-series tranny vs. a d-series, it is certainly not unreasonable to buy a 4.9 final drive kit (or 4.7, whatever it is) offered by some mfg, and never have to downshift.
Anyways, this brings up the main point. Increasing stroke improves torque (low mid power), increasing bore improves dyno numbers (mid-top power). good deal man. thats the best ive heard so far. thanks. ya i realized that storking it is not worth it at all. i guess that would be my next project later on my future with a nissan 240sx. thats the car i wanted but i got stuck with this car just cause i did a ******* contract. im sticking with the Bmotors for a DD and maybe a Dmotor for drag.
