strange starting issue, Need Help or Ideas.
The last couple of days, my car just won't start. It will fire up first thing in the morning, usually first crank. But after that, it won't start for the rest of the day. I am at a complete loss. It's gettng fuel, plugs smell of it and i'm showing 40 psi at the rail. I put a plug to the valve cover with each wire, all were sparking. No cel. It doesn't even try to start, just cranks over.
Anyone have any ideas? Are there any sensors that could be out that would do that? I have a msd ignition and coil, is there any chance that i'm not getting enough spark? Thought perhapse the coil was going out or somthing, but would it just stop sparking altogether? For that matter, is there any way of checking to see if your getting enough spark?
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Couple more things i've tried: put new p28 in, new plugs, different wires, no change. Checked compression, that was fine.

Sounds like it's getting flooded if you smell fuel and there's spark.... Check the output on the map, tps, and coolant temp sensor... all those will cause you to flood the engine if they went bad.
Come to think of it.... it's most likely the coolant temp... probably readings are stuck on cold causing the engine to flood out during warm start-ups.
