strange starting issue, Need Help or Ideas.
The last couple of days, my car just won't start. It will fire up first thing in the morning, usually first crank. But after that, it won't start for the rest of the day. I am at a complete loss. It's gettng fuel, plugs smell of it and i'm showing 40 psi at the rail. I put a plug to the valve cover with each wire, all were sparking. No cel. It doesn't even try to start, just cranks over.
Anyone have any ideas? Are there any sensors that could be out that would do that? I have a msd ignition and coil, is there any chance that i'm not getting enough spark? Thought perhapse the coil was going out or somthing, but would it just stop sparking altogether? For that matter, is there any way of checking to see if your getting enough spark?
I've checked compression, put new ecu in, new plugs, different wires. None of which worked.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have had a similar problem before in the past. I had a bad starter. I am not saying that is your problem though.
There is a flow chart I tell people to use at nutzandbolz.org
Perhaps it can help you out.

i had a similar problem with an msd coil.. throw that thing in the trash. I still got the stock coil if you need it.. i threw my msd coil in the GARBAGE.
