I have a hondata and DSM injectors ....one thing i noticed is sometimes i get a strange idle. Usually it is like ROCK steady, but there are times when ill start it up and usually its when its extremely hot out and after the car is fully warmed up the idle might bounce aroudn a little bit.. its not drastic but its not rock steady like it usually is, and another thing is sometimes ill get like some popping at idle..its very quiet popping. My question is, is this related to outside air temperatures... The tune was done in like 55 degree weather.. and at nights when its around that temp is when the car idles and drives the best, but during the day when its like 70-80 degrees out the car feels sluggish and cant hold a rock idle as great. any help is welcomed TIA

check your idle air controll valve (iac) in back of the manifold, I had the same problem as you, tried everything changed gaskets,map sensor,adjusted tps sensor, v-afc adjustments nothing still the same then I checked my helms manuel,It said that rough idle #1 to check iac valve, and DAMN sure enough swapped it out with my partners and bam back to a rock steady 760-790ish rpm. try that hope it works for you.

 

Oh yeah forgot to tell you even though it was faulty(iac) the cel light never came on thats why i never thought it was bad,who knows? But just give it a try.

 

Yeah, I'm gonna have to try that. I have a bouncy idle sometimes. I'm gonna try doing that and adjusting my timing, cuz I think mines is off a lil bit.
