check your throttle cable, mine used to get stuck because the cable would actually jump off of the rotor on the tb.........i bent the bracket on my intake manny that holds the cable and it's just fine now............

Its proly because the throttle plate is aluminum and not copper.
I see this all the time. There are places that will make you a copper replacement butterfly.
Just don’t let off the gas so hard.

I don’t know why your idle is screwy, try adjusting the TB screw that prevents the plate from closing all the way.

I had a STR 70mm TB..... they are kinda wierd, you have to break it in kinda before it works right. They are good after you work all the bugs out but I had the same problems that you have.

only thing I can think of is maybe the throttle plate is rubbing and staying ever so slightly open causing it to stick.. check it out and maybe sand it down/lubricate it?

it doesnt take much to make it idle at 3k..
