Default Stock sleeves-how long.......

I searched and c all these wonderful and badass builds on b-series motor making 500-600 hp on stock sleeves...currently at 430hp on 1bar with a 35r, 750cc....s200b with 91 pump gas....

My question is how long do they last and what type of driving is involved such as; street/track or drag???? Miles and driving behaviors....

I'm seriously thinking about re-tuning for 500+hp on stock sleeves in my ls-v block bored 81.5mm with aftermarket rods n pistons and will be tuning on c16. Need to be more competitive this coming BOTI

Searched, but not the information I'm looking for.....any insights??? Thanks! I the power is possible, but for HOW LONG??? Stock block from Demension is a great example, but don't look like a dd though......1 badass ride!!!

my stock d16 sleeves, at 300+ whp, lasted about 20,000 miles. peak was probably at about 330 whp.

a dead injector killed it

i beat on it like it was its last day every day.....but its really up to the block..every one is different

The single cam was trapping 137-138 mph on stock sleeves w/blockguard. Dont know the horsepower. Ended up melting a piston but the sleeve was fine except for some spatter. Sent it out to be sleeved while it was apart so I wouldn't have to worry about em anymore.

I had 312 Whp on racing fuel in my Stock sleeve JDM D15B, at 9:0 compression.
about 280 Whp on 91 street octane.
lasted 2 year of regular basis abuse ( several time a day )
about 20 000 KM over all.
I melted a piston on the ring land, that is the end of the story, but it was my fault, 5 gear pull are bad if holded to redline.

Go for 500 whp tune, then crack a sleeve, then sleeve the bitch, and go for the 600 Whp tune... that's it !

I always thought that 400ish whp was the limit.

My current mill on has a block brace in it and my goal is to break the 600hp line on stock sleeves. Honestly not worried about them
