stock clutch! how long will it last..
due to my recent bad luck, i was rear ended and my radiator cracked, i have had to shell out an unwanting 800 bucks... thats money that was in my turbo fund..
i already decided the first thing to hold off on is the 3" thermal and im thinken of holding off on the clutch..
ill be running a revhard stage2 kit on a 95 SE w/ 72k miles.. so 72k on clutch..
ill probably make about 200whp.. will i be ok to run the stock clutch for a few weeks till i can get money for a new one?

you can run it as long as you doint drive like wild man. Stock clutch can last long if you dont get on it.

I still have the stock clutch in (Clutchnet clutch is sitting on the livingroom floor waiting its turn). 99' GSR Drag Gen III, 5.8psi. ~4 months and ~6K miles.

If you *REALLY* drive it, with that kind of mileage, expect it to last maybe another 3k miles. It's not longer to hold long with the kind of torque demands a turbo presents. Take it from me, put a turbo on my 96LS with 68k miles and at 72 I had a new one. Expect to spend about 250+install.

i know some people riding on a stock clutch. i wouldnt... just because i rather have everything done right the first time. why not get the full pleasure of DRIVIN IT HARD... and have the piece of mind? rather than hittin the gas and worrying about the clutch breakin on you.

due to my recent bad luck, i was rear ended and my radiator cracked...
BTW, I got a CM stage 3 and lightened fly just before I installed the turbo. It drives great and is supposed to by very durable. No problems yet.

Just curious. How did you getting rear ended crack your radiator? Did they knock you into the car in front of you? Did someone back up into you and therefore "rear ended" you? Insurance isn't paying for any of it I am guessing? Bummer
