Default Clutch Questions..............Im going to run on stock for a while!!

Im plannin to boost my GSR and make somewhere about 250whp......i'm hopin that i can use the stock clutch for a while, but i don't know how smart that is. The clutch has 55k on it and is still very grabby....

The question is, is do you think the clutch will hold for a summer or do you think i should just budget another $300 and do it when i install the rest of the stuff??

imo i would buy one before you put the kit in. thats what im having to do. i dunno how your stock clutch will hold up but if you can get ahold of 300 bucks to get a clutch you might as well do it

the stock clutch will hold up for a while depending on how worn out it already is. Mine had 14K miles on it when I boosted the car, the clutch lasted fine until I took it to the strip, then it started to fade under a load.

I think you should get a clutch ASAP.

The stock clutch won't hold the torque. Contact lsdmotorsports for some good cheap clutches.
