Default stock b16 boosted

i have a stock b16a1 and i boosting it this winter. i bought a kit off of ebay and it is a t3t04e kit, 38mm waste gate, 2.5 in intercooler piping, 3 in down pipe, and probly 550cc injectors, with a walbro 255 pump and pressure regulator, i am thinking about 10psi of boost maybe more. so i am hoping to hit 320whp or more.
is the setup capible of it or should i push more boost and is it safe. thanks for the input.

Ebay turbo setups aren't known for their reliability....so keeping it in one piece, rather than power output, should be your #1 concern. Anyway, you're going to need a bigger map sensor to safely make 320whp. On an Ebay 57trim you're looking at 12-13psi to hit 320whp with an efficient setup.

What fuel are you running? What EMS do you have? Who is tuning it?

So you're going to run race gas all the time? That's practical. Also, when you say "stock ECU," are you referring to a chipped ECU or just the stock ECU as it is from Honda?

LOL...that was my thought too. Why not take the money that you would spend on $7/gal VP Race gas and put that money towards a piston/rod build...i guess doing things that make sense just isn't cool

That $7 a gallon must be some really old C16. We stock the gas and we charge $12 a gallon. I wish I paid $7 a gallon for it.

i heard rummers it was up to $13 a gallon last summer by me. thank god i still only need 93 octane. i use 100 just to be safe when i race. not to get off topic or steal his thread but if you want to run c16 you will be spending almost $100 a tank, and when boosting it alot it does not last long.

$7/gal was a guess...i've never used it personally. The only thing i've used (in very small portions) was 110 octane pump for $4.99/gal

That turbo will get you to 350whp.

BTW....bhp = flywheel horsepower

ok here is my goal and what i have so far. 300whp or more. stock b16a1, ys1 lsd cable tranny, the ebay turbo kit of course, msd sci box and coil, walbro 255 pump, i still need injectors and the delivery system. the car is a drag car the only street time it will see is to get it to the track until i get a trailer. the budget is kinda iffy, the cheaper the better.
oh yeah its in a '91 crx si, havent decided if i want to gut it or not, it weighs between 2200 and 2300 with me in it

-used T3 log w/ 38mm flange
-used T3 Super60 or T3/T04e 50 trim
-keep the SSAC intercooler piping and intercooler
-sell the SSAC Turbo, wastegate and manifold
-RC or PTE 550cc injectors

Follow the Forced Induction FAQ for the rest of the parts needed for your setup. If you shop around, you can find parts for next to nothing
