True that. I bought a set of Koni Reds and GC's from a sponsor on here. He tells me they're in stock and I place my order. 1 1/2 weeks past latest arrival date and I ask what's up - I recieve the run-around. Eventually I get my merchandise and all is well after numerous PM's with "I'll get you a tracking # and PM it to you/call you in a minute".

But damn, just tell me its being drop shipped. I have NO problem with that. See, all this secrecy about drop shipping and not letting us know you're doing it has me thinking I should have a problem with it. Why are they keeping it secret otherwise?

 

so u ordered a turbo, a week went by and nothing. then u want a refund but instead get the trackin number for the turbo u originally wanted. just outta curiosity, why don't u want the turbo anymore? i'm pretty sure the majority of people on this site have had to wait longer then a week. hell i had to wait a few months just to get a block sleeved...

 

well cause i told him i wanted my refund he said it was alright he was going to give it to me and then i decided i was going to buy the turbo from boostfed so i did. He delivered as promised great doing buisness with him great seller got my turbo and took it to my shop to put it on and get it tuned but now im missing 600 dollars that i gave this fool and i told him to give me my money back but his been trying to evade me.

Damn, as much as I want to support the site via sponsors, they HAVE to get their **** together and not lie. I feel safer buying from ebay with a check/money order, and based on these stories, I'd be getting it sooner too.

what method of payment did you use?

 

here's how i see the situation. sthperformance doesnt stock anything, he deals with distributors. so i'm pretty sure for the most part it was out of his hands. he placed the order through the distributor and that was about it. distributor shipped it and gave him the trackin number which he then forwarded to you. obviously he's not gonna be a dumb *** and give you your money back while the turbo is on it's way to your house. your going to have send the turbo back then get a refund. before even starting this stupid thread u should of just waited to the turbo to come and refuse delivery then try to get your money back. and if he didnt give you your money back, then make a thread. some people are just too anxious to make a thread bad mouthing a company. Also just so u know i have never bought anything from sthperformance nor do i know him, but wantboost is right. it was only a freakin week. turbo's do go on back order. just ask all those people who were waiting on there gt35r's.

 

Explain my story. Orderered wastegate came with everything in pic...ahh re read what i posted then tell me it wasn't sthperformances fault. Still have no flange. A good buddie sent me one so i have one soon. Business note: Don't say you stock stuff if you work out of your bedroom, if you get from a supplier just say it up front, customer service is #1 with a business ans by no means at all do not lie about stuff. I know pretty much what happened in my situation but was told different from sthperformance.

Has he once posted in a thread that is about him screwing people? ahhh yea thats how you straiten stuff out....just avoid it.....

It comes down to telling the truth. He doesnt have to stock things. But dont lie and make it look like you stock things and everything is under your control. Becuase then when the distributors dick with sending stuff out (which happens alot), you wont be in the mess you are in and need to make up lies to cool the cutsomer off.
Just say, my distributor is a little backlogged or whatever

 

I have had my problems with them also. I paid for a Precision intercooler, sent them my money, then 2 months later I recieve my money back because they are unable to get my intercooler.

exactly what i was going to post. Just start dealing with the prostreetonlines, phoenixturbo, importparts, lightningmotorsports and you will be fine.

Were still small ourselves, but we will help till the end. Plus we actually have a telephone # posted on our website

Any company who has a all sales final policy isn't going to help you if something goes wrong.

Somebody made a comment about check the tracking # to see where it came from. Alot of the larger distributors will do blind dropships. For example we wholesale some items we carry. If a item is going to get shipped to the customer for that company we will put there name and address on the ups label etc.

no, you need to understand that things take time. i understand that he doesnt want his turbo anymore, but i bet if he had seen his turbo sitting at his door within the first week he wouldnt of bitched about it

and im not a dumbass there **** for brains. i had a custom turbo made... from housings to wheels. i bet you have a typical off the shelf turbo in your honda...

 

But he shouldnt be told its broke when he never saw it in hand. Its a buy time measure.
If there was a wait on it he should have been clear on that. He shouldnt say stuff is in stock when its not also.

And I dont see why someone should wait more then they were quoted, and then offered their money back and then later sent the turbo

yea i agree. of course somethings are unavoidable and cause delays, but that doesnt apply to sth. it was just a half *** web of excuses and so on and so forth because im pretty sure his supplier said he couldnt get one out in time, etc, etc

Just thought I would let everyone I've seen him sell turbos on ebay so be careful.

 

i ordered a gt35r from him it was supposed to be a garrett .63 ar with the s cover....like a week later i get a call saying I can get u the .82 ar much faster and it will make more power and i agreed to this....liike 3 weeks later I get my turbo in the mail and its a precsion .63ar and the E cover...I was so dissapointed...I guess im stuck with this turbo and im gonna have to use it.
