I'm not runnning one, i'm actually using hondata. However; my buddy is running one on his EVO and I've played with it quite a bit. Very nice system. Can be pretty complicated and overwhelming if your new to tuning. Has every option you'd need and some you wont. Overall I'd say get one if you really know what your doing, or want to really dig into yourself and learn a whole lot, and you have a lot of cash because they aren't cheap by any means. If you just want to mess around and learn a bit here and there and don't have a monster setup, I'd say get Uberdata, chrome or something free. They'll do what you need and save you lot's of cash.

If your question is really "which engine management should I use" then you are going to get a hailstorm of responses advocating uberdata. A top of the line uberdata setup will cost you about $800 including wideband. That's less than half the price of AEM and you can tune it yourself no problem.

You also can't rev past 9000 RPM's with it, doesn't have the slick datalogging, doesn't have built in boost controller, doesn't have traction control, a 2-step, etc, etc.

$800????

$150 for a datalogging equipped P06 (converted for VTEC like p28) ECU
$280 for a zeitronix wideband
$50 Willem chip burner

How the hell is that anywhere near $800?

I spent

$375 for Zeitronix wideband with display from T Woody here on H-T aka Wires4cars

$15 for uberdata kit from Moates
$80 for burn1 burner from Moates

Total of $470 and you can use the wideband for datalogging which alot of H-T members say it's better, but prob not as good as AEM but not sure.

Here's what I spent to get going:

$180 for the p28 - that's including chips, usb port, serial port, and data cable.
$85 for moates burn1
$180 for moates ostrich
$300 for AEM UEGO (had to build a voltage scaler to use it)
$70 for conversion harness

So I spent $815 + $250 for an old PII laptop. And when live edit becomes functional, hondata will have nothing over uberdata.

Uberdata currently (in 1.70 non-beta) has launch control (rev limit under a certain speed) AND datalogging - soon you should see an exportable lamda log that you plug 1-10 3rd gear pulls into an excel app and it gives you the fuel curves to input. It also has a ton of other features - read them before you post that it doesn't.

BTW for me:

$0 P75 (already had it)
$15 Chipping kit
$85 USB chip burner
$300 Wideband controller/o2
$400 1.13 PIII from ebay

So...for $800 I can tune my own car, as well as other uberdata'd cars around. I also sell the laptop if my car is ever stolen

A rev limiter under a certain speed and traction control are just a pinch different, don't you think?

I use EMS, and if you want the extra features (traction control, boost control, multiple coil outputs so I can run COP, built-in stutter box, and I'm sure there are others), then it's worth it. You can get by with a lot less, but I'd rather not. If your budget is real tight, there are cheaper options with less capabilities.

I had hondata before on my last setup. On my new setup I have the AEM EMS. I would never go back to hondata or try anything else. Its not very hard to use if you don't get overwhelmed by all the features.
