Default Fuel System Question

I decided on running a FMU (12:1) with 450cc injectors on my 93 teg and I plan on running around 8 psi... Along with my Apexi SAFC... I've talked to a few people and they say this setup will be plenty for my goals which are not anything crazy. Do you see any problems I might run into?
Thanks

Just a guess... I think the car might throw a CEL at 4000 RPM when you boost and then idle at about 1400 until you shut it off again.

Could this CEL be because I don't have a check valve for the map sensor?

93 is basically right. You would need check valves if you were just running the FMU. The "hack" takes care of that my reducing the MAP signal to levels that won't trigger the CEL and limp mode.

You can run both... But in that case the FMU would be the primary fuel adder and the hack would just be to fine-tune. But you wouldn't want to run big injectors in that case.

Yea, I'm sorry if I sound retarded but I'm new to turbo with Honda's. My RX7 was a lot different.
So you're saying I could keep my stock injectors, run an FMU and fine tune it if necessary with my AFC? Is it safe to use an FMU with stock injectors? I've been told its not a good idea.
Thanks guys

Well, nobody will say it is safe.

Since you are new to Hondas check out uberdata.

I checked out Uberdata and I'll probably get into that later on. Right now I need it to get me to work and back. I'll be puttin plates on it soon and I just don't want it to blow up. Should I go ahead and get a set of 310's or 440's...? I'll use those with my AFC for now? Or would I be better off with my FMU and 310's or 440's?

So I guess for now I'll go FMU with stock injectors... Is a Vortech 12:1 FMU about right for my teg?

Is a 12:1 FMU really gonna make that much of a difference?
