Default stepping into the dark side, newbie to turbo need a little help

what kind of numbers are you guys putting down with oem bottom end b16 on boost? ive been an allm otor guy for awhile now but im pikcing up a new car and gogin i na new direction. 99% sure that ill put 9:1 pistons and ddecent rods but im jsut curious to what the oem bottom end can handle on 91 octane pump and be driven a to b.

also, ive been browsing kits and its lookign liek ill just put my own togetehr becuasei m not seeing anyone who sells a "complete" kit. i looekd at the peakboost and the essentials are there, but the tidbits seem to be missing like all the fueling neccesities. to the best of anyones knowledge, who is putting out a kit that suplies EVERYTHING to run anywhere from 6psi to 14 psi?

More and more people are putting down 300hp on stock SOHCs, so I know DOHCs can handle even more.

Are you asking how much a completely stock bottom end can handle or just how much the stock sleeves can put down?

^^ stock sleeves, we've seen 640 WHP (realistically, 300-400).

stock motor- 300 hp (i dont think i would go anymore than that on a DD)

you should really check out evans tuning website and look at the simple setups... stock b16(with little stuff) made like ~305 hp.

Another thing bout the peakboost package, check it out https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1041974
for ~$700 more, get all your "fueling" essentials... now thats a complete turbo setup for roughly $3200..
