Default SRP's with coating? or no coating. good idea, or bad idea?

i have 75 mm SRP's for my d16a6. i have enough clearance for skirt coating, and kinda want to do heat barrier coating on the tops, but i've been hearing some things from some people that some coating brands are better than others.

is it a bad idea to do, or a good idea? any recomended brands from experience.

yeah, i'm driving right near them tommorrow. they quoted me 18 bucks a piston, so its not like its crazy expensive, but i cant find many people with experience with their coating

how would you do the piston-to-wall clearance when you coat pistons ????

do you include the coating in the measurements or would you just use the measurements from the pistons when it wasnt coated?

i read a thread where earl was talking about that, and theoretically, your piston is a bit bigger. it seems from what i've read on many sites, that the piston could be up to .004 bigger, but usually .001-.002 bigger.

i have the clearance (used block, stock bore pistons), so that would be one of the benifits for me (getting the pistons a hair " bigger"
