square ports on FI setup??

Default square ports on FI setup??

all motor engines gain a lot of power with square ports.are square ports even needed on a turbo engine.Are the gains even greater on a turbo setup.

Believe me or not, square ports are not as efficient as round ports. The only reason to run a square port is when you can't make your round port any bigger. You'll see a lot of v8's with square ports because they have the pushrods taking up realistate in the head. They are trying to get every last big of port volume. If you do this to a honda head, I think you would kill port efficiency.

ive heard that also but i talk to wil from exospeed and he stands behind his square ports.

Square ports = twice as much drag on the intake charge trying to reside in one of the port's corners.

Maybe Wil at exospeed is getting such good results from the charge forming it's own boundary layer around the corners, and effectively making the port geometry oval again?
