seems like an ok idea, but i see them springs getting weak or breaking before the actual disc goes bad. perhaps it would have a bit "smoother" enguagement with the sprung hub....

i have seen lots of exedy clutches blow the springs out... for anything driven hard i never run a sprung clutch disk... they break way too much

did comp refund/exchange the clutch out for you? The only reason I am even looking for a new clutch is b/c my ACT xxtreme 6 puck cant seem to last 500 miles and maybe 200 lbs/tq.

lol drive in what way? Im really easy on the car and havent done anything to it that would impose slipping already. Its never even had a chance to go to the track. Maybe I just try to make the clutch a little easier to engage when taking off and ride it a tad, but that makes no sense for it to die off in 500 miles.
