Default is it to spray simple green on your fmic?



got some grime/bugs on the front, is ok to use simple green and then hose it down?

it promotes corrosion actually....

that is the reason why simple green is not allowed by the FAA to be used on aircraft anymore.

simple green has made a product that is meant for cleaning aluminum. It is called simple green extreme!

No im the guy that dosent make dumb threads. Is it really that hard to figure out the answer to this question? Half of the questions on this board are common sense seriously.
There is a fairly low percent of useful info on this board compared to years ago.

The disease on this forum is the people that are to lazy to think about things or look into the subject before asking. In this case "read the bottle" I dont get it

Take a look at the bottle yourself.... it says nothing about aluminum.

I think that your the disease here mang. There is still great info on this board. You just have to look for it and weed throught the floaters to get to the good stuff.

Because pics are always good....


It is a great degreaser too. I love this stuff. It is a little more expensive, about $2.75 more a bottle, but worth knowing that it will not enduce corrosion or oxidation....

i used the zip wax brand car soap on my intercooler and all the bugs and grime came off great.....$2 at advance....
