Default Grease Lightening or Simple Green?

which do you guys perfer or like works better?

Grease Lightening or Simple Green

i went to a Advanced Auto Parts and they dont have Simple Green only Grease Lightening... i asked the cashier about Simple Green (he doesnt know didley doo da) the cashier said there was a couple of people who came in recently looking for Simple Green.

they're two different things.

GL is a made for TV wonder crap (engine additive)

SG is a cleaner...like any old other general purpose cleaner

Don't know what you're using it for, but I cleaned up my coilovers with Simple Green and it works great. My only gripe is it smells like Nyquil.

Simple Green is sweet.
Just make sure you get the big gallon jugs at Home Depot. The smaller bottles cost a grip.

Grease lightning for me.

I've used both before as well, and GL will take the dark, old oil stains off the tranny. Simple Green won't even put a dent in that stuff.

Yea, that stuff works wonders also. I detailed the engine bay last summer starting off with that stuff and it worked great. I think it worked better than simple green

I went with the GL last trip to the auto parts store. GL is very powersull stuff. A friend uses the Caster purple stuff and it works on just about everything including nasty carpet.
