I am building a sleeved d16z6 motor with eagle rods and je pistons. Im going to be picking up a t3/gt40 turbo. what i wanna know is, is it ok to use nitrous on low end to get the turbo spooling or will that hurt the turbo at all?

What kind of horse power are you guys looking to make? If youre that worried about lag buy a smaller turbo. If you are looking to be in pro come than I cant understand.

 

( Dont want to steal this thread so ill keep to a min. ) i put down just over 400....but i dont get spool till about 4900 rpm......and i have an LS so i red line at 6800

should be fine. how much hp can u get out of a t3/gt40?

 

it thinks it capable of 500HP but im not positive. ill have to do some research on it. But i am hoping to have between 450 and 500 HP.
