build and Tunning
I have a question that seem to be easy but not really in my situation. My question is how do people build their engine and get to the tunning place?
1. Build it and drive it to tune?
2. Build and tune at same place?
3. Build it and tow it to the place to tune?
Im having this question cuz all option above are not so good to me
option 1 Would it be safe?
Option 2 the place that willing to build it and tune it cost a horrible labor
Option 3 the tow are nut (i have to tow at least 40 mile which is around 150 just for tow)
So one again HOw do peopel do it? Lets me know your how u do it guys.

I've have seen people drive with basemap I mean they dont even tune the car after they have basemap. How safe to run base map cuz i have to make a really long way? Can you run with base map or is it something else that leave some to be called untune their car and stil driving on road? Some even claim that they make some decent hp and not having any problem.

Option 4 Buy a tow dolly. Best $250 I ever spent. After the $75 beater car, anyway...
I'm fitting draw-tite hitches to both the CRX and the red car so I don't have to keep scabbing other ppl's trucks...

I have to buy one this spring. Man I borrowed my friends like 4 times this fall. Needless to say I have to tune his car for free for life now. Haha, after a trip from PA to michigan.
But to answer the question. Put in your stock ecu and stock injectors and just drive it to the tuning shop. It is easy to stay out of boost. Just drive it normally, normally meaning like a person who doesn't beat on it. Drive it like your grandpa.
