Default NOS with a Turbo?

I was wondering if you could do NOS with a turbo. I know the bottom end would deffintly have to built up for that. And all the ignition and **** like that, but is it wise to run NOS with a turbo? If so what kinda shot would be safe?

Usually, when people use both, it is to help spool up the turbo and that's it. Typically, use it at lower rpms and then shut it down when the turbo really kicks starts kicking in. It's usually with a larger turbo too (like an Rx-7 or supra w/ a single turbo conversion). Other than that, I've never heard of anyone else doing it. You would probably need to make sure you have a really strong bottom end and pretty low cr. Other than that, how much depends on the setup of the engine/turbo.

Also, you are just talking about nitrous, right? NOS is a company (nitpicking but it bugs me.) If you are just asking about using NOS specifically (I don't think you are but I'm bored) then there's no reason why you couldn't use them for nitrous.

it can be done cause it lowers the intake charge and heat created from the turbo. In turn it elevates the cylinder pressures. your definitely not only gonna want rods and pistons but sleeves too like golden eagle. You don't need NOS with turbo unless you are definitely are a racer and looking for that extra 50-100hp. streetable turbo systems can make 350 to the wheels and not have bad spool up.
