lol. this is funny the only "information" being posted is from companies selling them. if you can produce a spark plug for $0.09 and sell it for $2 or one for $0.15 and sell it for $8 what would you do. This is all biased information. And h-t "explain why my car starts faster" thats just funny. You can seriously tell me you can see a difference. I can see them lasting longer but thats about it. You guys just want to feel better because you paid more for them.

I've bought both just to see if one's better than the other...and iridium proved its self to me. Thats all I need to convince me. To each his own...

NGK and sparkplugs.com sells both of them so why would there info be biased.. They stated the facts. Why would companies invest in exotic metals and new designs to yield same results as copper plugs.

What happens here on H-T is that people prefer the copper ones and thats ok too. They perform great. Im not trying to convert anyone. In fact, i use both of them but i know which one is better and more expensive.

And you know how much it costs NGK to make sparkplugs?

It's very simple! Just go buy yourself a pair of copper & iridium sparkplugs and take both of them for a spin and you come back and tell us how it went.

The only way some people learn is by personal experience.

anti-oxidation is the big part. I'd buy them just because of that. Any electronics nerd knows that. That's why gold > tin for intrument cable. Gold doesn't oxidize.

The reason this thread has become such a big deal is b/c you have H-T that is personally trying to push his opinion on everyone else buy calling them names and stooping to the smarts of a 3 year old.

I think the iridiums are probably better, but they dont warrant the cost, since there are hundreds of people running just as much power, just as reliably with copper cores.

Does this mean Im cheap? Maybe. Does getting iridiums mean you're a lazy ***? Maybe. Either way H-T you should get a new hobby bud. Couldnt imagine how hard core you would get over something that REALLY matters

So what your saying is that if it runs it's fine. So do you pump 87 octane gas and use a FMU instead of a EMS(Engine Management System)...it does the job "right?" and makes your car run...lol...just like a copper spark plug it does the job...

I'm just trying to say who wouldn't want the best for their performance car.

I just want everyone to see my point.

NOW LET'S END THIS DEBATE SINCE WE ALL CLEARLY KNOW WHICH IS THE BETTER SPARKPLUG!

[QUOTE=H-T] performance car. [QUOTE]

You drive a civic.... and like I said it went to hell b/c you tried to push your opinoin on to others. Which never works.

Now lets all stop debating about this b/c we all know that a civic is a performance car now!!! Friggin sweet!!
