Spark plug question for new B18B build...
I have looked all over for which spark plug (heat range) would be appropriate for my new setup. I have the following:
B18B1 Block
Benson Sleeved 84mm
Manley Rods
Eagle Crank
CP 9:1 Compression Pistons
KMS ported and polished LS head
Upgraded Supertec Valvetrain
Precision 1000cc injectors
Eagle Fuel Rail
Dual Walbro 255's
Edelbrock Victor X Manifold
Maxbore Throttle Body Service
Brian Crower Stage 2 Turbo Cams
Hondata S300
and am looking to run minimum a 60-1 or SC52E turbo on a Drag log manifold for now. I am aiming for 500 horse to start and then I will go from there when more money presents itself.
My question is, which spark plug would you suggest?
ZFR5F-11 is stock NGK
ZFR7F gapped to .032 is what I have on my old setup... is that adequate enough to hold 500hp without detonation?
I thank you guys in advance
