Default Spark Plug Question

I am brand spanking new to hondas. I just got a 2000 civic si. I am not new to this car becuase I was friends with the previous owner and was the driver of the car when it was raced but mecanically i have always delt with rotary engines. The car is built pretty well, darton sleeves, cp pistons, eagle rods ferrea valvetrain, 18g turbo, msd 6al, microtech lt-8 ems. thats just to name a few. Yesterday I was detailing the car to put it up for the winter and I decided to check out the spark plugs and they are NGK V-power 8. I was kinda confused by this because in rotaries those are the plugs we use for n/a engines and are considered a hot plug. Is this different in honda engines or is this plug to hot for a boosted engine? Thank you

8 should be just fine for that setup. Rotary plugs see ALOT more heat then that of a piston motor which is why there is a discrepancy in what is considered "hot" and "cold."
