.28 should be a good start, the trick is to have the smallest gap as possible without it missfiring/hesitation on the low end.

how much boost/spray????

I'm still at .035" on the champion plugs and 85 shot.

Still nailing 40+ mpg on the highway too!

i thought people use msd so they can run a bigger spark plug gap, not a smaller one?

you haven't thought about boost or nitrous then.

the bigger the gap, the more chance the boost can blow out your spark.

I always thought the goal was to get away with as big of a gap as you can w/out missing under boost. That way you can have the best idle and low end as possible. I found that w/my BTM, coil, wires, ect. I needed .03"-.032"

ya thats what i meant

keep gapping it down until it stops missfiring and also have a good spark on the low end at the same time.

i feel a little hesitation like when i'm at higher rpm. i never felt it before i put the msd on. it could be a misfire, but it feels like a little hesitation. i just tried it out last night for the first time.

could be missfire or running too rich. if it is, just keep gapping it down until it stops.

If it's running good then no need to gap it down. Only gap the plugs down some more if it's miss firing.
