I am currently running the vafc hack on my 97 Accord. I wanted to run it NA first to get any bugs out before boosting. From 2000 rpm til about 2600 rpm i get spark knock under heavy load. I cant figure out why it is doing this. I was running -32, but now I am running -24 correction on the vafc and it still pings. Can someone help me out here?

 

what kind of injectors are you running? the hack is made for ~450cc injectors. If you have stock injectors you aren't doing anything but taking 32% percent of needed fuel out. If that is the case, put the vafc back to 0. If you have 450's, I would double check the wiring.

 

I have DSM 450s and I am positive the wiring is right.

 

How far is your timing advanced? What kinda gas do you run? Also, did this happen even before you put the hack in?

 

I have tried 93, but nothing seems to help. I am running stock timing on 0 boost and it never did this before the hack.
