Just curious.. since detonation is the number one killer for boosted Hondas, has anyone recorded what detonation sounds like? The 'metal clanging' description is a little vague. If anyone has any sound clips, I'd love to hear 'em.

you will know if you hear it! And another thing to think about is that it isnt allways audible. So good tuning is your freind!

Mine sounded like little pebbles in a coffee can. It can sound like many things rattles, clanks and other clicks. As stated it's not always audible!

if you hear somthing funny, its probably detonation.

Why would you take time to record it when you motor was being destroyed. Sometimes you can't hear the most deadly detonation.

step 2 - get a metal rod
step 3 - insert metal rod into pipe
step 4 - bang metal rod on walls of pipe
step 5 - listen
